Evolved Systems was created by a group of likeminded IT professionals with the aim of bringing affordable and robust computing to SMEs (Small / Medium Enterprises).
It was noted that traditionally, highly skilled consultancy would sometimes be too expensive for the average small to medium sized business. It is a fact that the large consultancies, whilst being very good at what they do, have a lot of overheads to cover as well as the salaries of good technical staff. Therefore, such consultancies find it difficult to make a profit from a lot of “small” jobs so they tend to concentrate on the larger contracts available. We all know that if a company cannot make a profit then their business is not viable, therefore they will not put themselves in this position by choice. To the largest of these consultancies, even a 500 seat rollout would be considered a “small job”.
So, where does this leave the SME customer? Well, they have a number of options available to them and each one comes with its own set of problems. Even outsourcing the entire function leaves the unenviable task of managing service level agreements and targets which, if you are honest, is not what you want to be doing. Your time is much better utilised running your business than trying to micro-manage suppliers.

They all have many years of “real world” experience as well which means that you, the customer, can always draw upon this wealth of knowledge.
We also take the view that the customer is best served by us minimising traditional overheads by running a lean operation and passing on these savings in the form of better value for money, but without having to cut corners. Whilst we would never advocate buying the cheapest of anything, rarely does the most expensive turn out to be the best option either.
The other fundamental principle on which we built Evolved is that of individuality. We understand that no two customers are the same and each will have differing requirements. So we will never try to sell you a solution which never quite does what you want. Instead, we listen to your circumstances and tailor a solution which best delivers those requirements. Whilst there will always be some common foundations, it is your business processes which will ultimately define the right solution.
Having a number of clients in this area also gives us leverage with hardware suppliers. This affords us access to high quality, tier 1 equipment at discounted rates. While we have no intention of becoming a hardware reseller, we are able to make the introduction so that the customer can enjoy the fruits of our relationships with some of the best resellers.
